Customized fused glass pet portraits

Our custom pet portraits let your fur friend shine in your room. Handmade kiln-formed glass that preserve your pet’s personality forever.

This is not limited to just dogs or cats, other pets are welcome.

Each portrait is individually designed using hand-cut glass pieces, frit, and flameworked details, then kiln-fired to permanently fuse the elements into one luminous composition. Created from your photos, each piece captures the unique expression, coloring and spirit of your companion.

Commissions are open! Please email jyzglass@gmail.com for size recommendations for your fur baby/babies. Please read carefully before buying a commission slot. No refunds!! Please make sure to write your email address correctly in the info. That’s the way we will be able to reach out to you and discuss your piece.

6” a circle with an embroidery hoop. starts $375
8” a circle with a chain. starts $525
(recommended for multiple pets)
8x8” a square with a mounted frame (Black or White). starts $650

Sizes/What I recommend

When it comes to portraits, I have decided I am no longer using small sizes. Each pet has a distinguishable personality and I want them to look as close to the real portrait as possible.

When you purchase a slot, I’ll reach out to you and ask for photos. Once reviewing, I will provide you my opinion depending on the size/ shape/ colors, and what works best for you.

After making a large number of pieces, I’ve realized that bigger is better if you have two or more pets. I’d like to focus on their distinguishing features: their collar, bandanas, name tags, or even their favorite toys.

the process

1. Purchase a commission slot fee

2. I will contact you for details / or email me photos
   Send 3 - 5 clear photos showing your pet’s face and coloring

3. Desing & Details
   Background options/design details are totally up to you! We can add more components ahead of time, and then I will let you know the cost.
   If you need a specific color that I need to create, it may take a little longer than the lead time.

4. Deposits
   After paying the $50 slot fee and discussing your project, I do require a 50% deposit before I start. The $50 will go towards the deposit. I will send you a personal payment link from my website (I don’t accept any other payment methods). The deposit has to be paid within 48 hours after receiving the payment link.

5. Glass construction
   I will be updating you on how the commission is going or if I have any questions. Depending on the project, it will most likely take me 7-10days before I can update you on how the piece is going.
   Once I show you my progress and what I currently have, please share your thoughts. I will adjust anything needed.
   It’s also important to note that this is a fused glass piece and will not look as delicate as real photos. I will try my best, but in the end it will not be the photo realistic! (My goal is to show the impression of your furry friends)

   After the glass piece is fully finished and ready to ship I will be asking for the remaining balance before shipping!
